When the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers met earlier in the season, it was an absolute rout. Even with the Seahawks struggling at that point, they blew right past their NFC West foes. Now with playoff seeding in play for Seattle in Week 17, the two teams will meet once again. This time, though, it’ll be in the recently barren confines of Levi’s Stadium.
Russell Wilson and the Seahawks have seemingly been up against it all season. Because of injuries, poor offensive line play, and general inconsistency, it’s been an uphill climb for much of the year. That won’t get any easier entering the postseason considering the absence of Earl Thomas and the fact that O-line hasn’t improved. Subsequently, they’ll be fighting all day long on Sunday to try and get in rhythm.
The Chip Kelly and Trent Baalke era for the 49ers is seemingly over and rightfully so. 2016 has been abysmal. From the Colin Kaepernick protests to the 13-game losing streak, this year has been one full of media attention for everything but the reason they’d want: playing good football.
Without question, this one should go in favor of the Seahawks. However, stranger things have happened—especially with Seattle on the road. Wouldn’t it be just like Kelly’s 49ers to win to end the season so that they ruin their draft position?
On Sunday, the Seattle Seahawks will be on the road facing the New Orleans Saints. Here is how to watch the game online.

The Seattle Seahawks will be on the road for the second straight week. After pulling off a tie on the road against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 7, the Seahawks will be trying to win this Sunday in New Orleans.
As expected, the Seahawks have played well this season. They will be heading into New Orleans with a 4-1-1 record, and, of course, have been dominant at home. They won’t have the luxury of the 12th man this Sunday, but they can certainly defeat the Saints on the road.
This will be a good opportunity for the Seahawks to have a big day on offense. So far this season, the Seahawks haven’t made too many mistakes on offense, but they also haven’t been that explosive. The Saints’ defense is one of the worst in the league, and players like tight end Jimmy Graham will be poised for big games.
For the Saints, 2016 has been another difficult season. While Drew Brees leads one of the best offenses in the NFL in the game on Sunday, their defense continues to struggle. The Saints are going to be hard pressed to score 30 points against the Seahawks’ defense, and unfortunately, their defense can’t hold opponents too much below that.
According to Covers.com, the Seahawks are 2.5-point favorites on the road for Sunday’s game. The Seahawks are 1-1-1 on the road this season, but their tie was enough for them to cover the spread against the Cardinals.
